And I appreciate yo...Brian, Thanks for you comment. And I appreciate you mentioning Wieters Switch hitting ability because I did forget to mention it, and Its such an advantage of a hitter of that caliber to be so tough to match up against. Its interesting you mentioned Smoak, because I believe he's on the Orioles radar as their top overall pick in next Thur. baseball draft. We'll have to see if the O's reunite Wieters and Smoak who I think played high school ball together.Steve Shouphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08995967113869172494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3262642253132428338.post-27053601770552159842008-05-23T14:45:00.000-04:002008-05-23T14:45:00.000-04:00Steve, great analysis, you are spot on with Wieter...Steve, great analysis, you are spot on with Wieters. I had the privilege of seeing him play live in the Cape League in 2006 and it was clear that he was one of the top two offensive players in the league (alongside South Carolina's Justin Smoak). It should also be noted that Wieters is a switch hitter, the kid can play.Brian Doylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01699108472762789523noreply@blogger.com
