Men's College Basketball Rankings: Week 9

In today's USA Today/ESPN coaches poll, the Pitt Panthers held onto the #1 seed in addition to their undefeated record after taking down St. Johns 90-67 on Sunday. Former top-seed North Carolina dropped to #6 after falling to 0-2 in ACC play with their loss to Wake Forest over the weekend. Wake Forest managed to pick up two first place votes and has quietly put together a strong season behind the play of Sophomore guard Jeff Teague. The Deamon Deacons not only won the 76 Classic in Anaheim to start the season, but also snapped BYU's 53-game winning streak on homecourt prior to Sunday night's upset win over North Carolina.
